We provide our customers with the top quality, service reliability and compliance assurance they would expect from masters of metal printing, all backed by our reassuringly comprehensive technical support. Our expertise covers mainstream and bespoke requirements, high volumes, contingency assignments and last-minute orders with short lead-times (less than five days). In fact whatever the job, we have the capacity, technical know how and support services in place to deliver it. We aim to provide our customers with all of the technical expertise and efficiencies of a large state-of-the-art print shop.

Our services

Metal procurement & stockholding

At Tinmasters we print on both tinplate and aluminum. We currently supply both a full service, where we purchase the metal substrate, and a printing and coating only service according to our customers’ preference.

We have considerable expertise when it comes to purchasing tinplate and an established reliable supplier base using European and Asian suppliers. We manage complex requirements such as ensuring food safety compliance where this is required. This can be a cost effective, low risk and efficient to manage option for customers. Where customers purchase the tinplate themselves we provide high quality stockholding; excellent environment, accurate timely information and insurance.

Coating

Tinmasters is able to offer the full range of coatings and varnishes with both thermal and UV curing options. These include food safe coatings and stencil coatings and a range of specialist varnishes and varnish effects such as; different finishes (gloss, satin, semi-matt and matt), spot varnish (emphasising parts of the design) and special effects such as sparkle, pearlescent and crackle.

Printing - Lithographic

We have extensive print capacity, 14 printing decks, offering both thermal and UV print options. This includes a state-of-the-art, highly automated, 6 colour line with excellent small order size capability. We offer 4 colour process, pantone references and ink mixing to match any colour you require.

Printing - Inkjet

For one-off bespoke print jobs or where order quantities are small (500 sheets or less) we recommend digital inkjet printing for high quality no compromise results at an economic price.

Printing - Security

We are also able to assist with anti-counterfeit security printing, using security inks, anti-scanning technology, hidden images, security marks and micro text, for example. We are a DSS certified security printer.

Slitting

If you need your printed substrate delivered in more manageable sizes we can slit sheets down into strips or blanks as required.

Components

We manufacture standard can ends in either 99mm or 127mm diameters.
