Tinmasters announced today (17th January) its proposal to restructure its existing business onto a single site, reducing costs and improving the Company’s ability to respond to changing market conditions.

The Company currently has operations at both Caldicot and Swansea (65 miles apart). It intends to move all of the existing business into the larger Swansea site reducing duplication, improving flexibility and maximising returns on future investment.

The restructured business will have the headroom needed for the Company’s medium term growth plans plus the space to add additional capacity in the future.

Richard O’Neill CEO of Tinmasters said “The proposal is necessary to strengthen the Company’s financial performance and will safeguard the long-term future of metal decoration in Wales”.
