Yesterday we achieved an important milestone in Tinmasters’ business transformation plan. We successfully moved our Metalstar 3 printing press from our Caldicot site to our Swansea site. This already complex and time critical project became vastly more challenging with the outbreak of coronavirus.

The project team of Tinmasters and contractors (see below) overcame all of the obstacles to ensure that the supply of critical packaging for the food industry that we produce was not interrupted. The project was delivered safely (zero accidents and no Covid-19 illness), on budget and in a record 65 days from last commercial order to first commercial order.
